Victor Reynolds arrives at the notorious House of Usher, whereupon he is greeted by old acquaintances Roderick and Madeline Usher and their servant, Markus. They travel to the containment facility where Eon is supposed to be kept, only to find it empty and his guardian aged to near-death.
