This movie was not what I was hoping for regarding plot or entertainment. Andrew Garfield is a good actor, but boring and just blah as Spiderman. I may be comparing him to Tobey Maguire, whom I will ALWAYS fondly revere as the real Spiderman. The movie dialogue was not as good as it could have been, as every conversation left me wanting them to say more for dramatic or comedic emphasis. There were many boring parts that just dragged on and then there were many inconsistant parts. For example, Spidey gets shot in the leg and he hobbles along, trying to make his way to Oscorp. Then after going some distance, he decides to spray some webbing on the wound - why didn't he just do that from the beginning? Because of the leg wound, for some reason he needs the city cranes to help him swing from crane to crane to get him through the city, when throughout the rest of the movie, he had no trouble swinging without any crane assistance. Garfield has no muscle mass either. We didn't care for it.

It's a good fun summer blockbuster with good characters and some very well done action sequences. It's all I wanted was a good movie and this movie delivered. I recommend you watch this movie with friends or family and you'll have a blast.

Definately go it's way better than the last series. The story is good the action is amazing. Pun not intended. If you think it looks even a little good I would definately recomend you go see it. The relationship between Gwen and Peter is great, much better than that shown in the last series between Peter and Mary Jane. Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are great. I saw it in 3D and it was great but I'm pretty sure it would be just as awesome in regular too.

Being a long time Spider Man fan, I really liked this movie. To me Andrew Garfeild was a more believable Peter Parker/Spider Man than Tobey. The different spin on the origin of him getting his abilities was good too. It also appeared that this movie did not rely alot on CGI special effects as much as the first three made alot of the scence appear real and not cartoon like. So if you are a fan of Spiderman or just like action with a little romance thrown in go see this movie and you wont be dissapointed.

I enjoyed this movie opening night, and I don't regret one cent of the admission,. It is a well-done update to Spidey's seminal emergence. The action was tight and the effects were authentic. I look forward to the games and gear this update will spawn. Seems like they're setting up the Green Goblin for part 2 of this series. Based on Marvel history, that probably means Gwen Stacy will not be with us for part 3, Too bad. The chemistry between the primary characters worked very well. I was a bit dubious when I heard this update would rehash the origin. They actually pulled it off and very well at that. I would recommend anyone who can enjoy a good comic to see this new movie,
