Storyline:
A seasoned team of bank robbers, including Gordon Jennings (Idris Elba), John Rahway (Paul Walker), A.J. (Hayden Christensen), and brothers Jake (Michael Ealy) and Jesse (Chris Brown) Attica successfully complete their latest heist and lead a life of luxury while planning their next job. When Ghost (Tip T.I. Harris), a former member of their team, is released from prison he convinces the group to strike an armored car carrying $20 million. As the "takers" carefully plot their strategy and draw nearer to exacting the grand heist, a reckless police officer (Matt Dillon) inches closer to apprehending the criminals.

Takers was a typical action drama with a seen it before thin plot. with that said if you don't go for anything else go for the array of eye candy if your a woman of course or a fan of delicable men who's kick *** bad *** and are always dressed to kill!!! this is a Must see for that itself....
the acting skills were played safe ...T.i. steals the show as the criminal villain......

I have to admit I am a Paul Walker fan, and since he was in the movie I just had to go see it. I kept coming across people who were doubting the movie was going to be any good, boy were they wrong!! The movie is absolutely amazing, action packed with chase scenes and shootouts the story line was well played out, not confusing at all. All of the actors did a wonderful job. Throughout the entire movie I was on the edge of my seat, if you like action movies then check this one out you won't be disappointed. I will definitely be seeing it again :)

...for a genre that is hard to make original. There was some freshness in parts of the story,which I didn't expect. As always,I would love a little more individual character development and background,but this movie jsn't wasn't about that. Actors all knew exactly who their character's were,and followed through. I did end up caring about most of them and hating one,so,there you go! Will see it one more time in theatres.

Went for the eye candy stayed for the movie! The storyline was well played and flowed well. TI could use a few acting lessons. From beginning to end it was well acted, scenes made sense. I love action but with all the sex and language its hard to get to the point but this film was well made without all the extra bull. If you like action you'll like this film. I'm a mob movie fan and the ending had that kind of feel. Paul Walker and Idris Alba made the movie strong. Chris Brown and T.I. are still making the transition from music to film but overall they played their roles well. Characters were believable. I won passes to see it at a sneak peak. Paying to see it again with my husband!
