As part of the Horrorfest I was expecting something a little more scary and gory.

This was throughly predictable, with a very fake, although somewhat cute, monster. I love monster movies, so rated this as so-so.....

She was jumping and making squeaking noises pretty regularly through the movie, but I was left with the distinct impression that the script should have gotten another rewrite and the editor should have left more on the screen. The premise, while not really anything groundbreaking, could have been pretty complex if it had been exposed to the viewer. And I repeatedly got the strongly impression that there were parts of scenes cut that would have made them make more sense and would have added to the suspense. If you love horror and/or are easily scarred it’s for you. I will say I had no idea Charlie Murphy was going to be in it and for me he absolutely stole the show.
