Storyline:
True-crime writer Ellison Oswalt moves himself and his family into a house where a horrific crime took place earlier, but his family doesn't know. He is trying to find out more about the crime so he can write a new book about it to help his flailing career. He uses some "snuff" film footage he finds in the house to help in his research, but he soon finds more than he bargained for. There is a figure in each of the films, but who or what is it? As a result, his family start to suffer (as does he), and things take a turn for the worse. Will they survive?

The HQD does not play at all, and the HD720 only plays up to 48 min in, after that it goes blank :(

Easily up there with Paranormal Activity franchise, with much more interesting plot too.

If you are expecting to be screaming and jumping off your seat this is not the movie. There are a few (very few) times I'd jump but for the most part it was predictable. There was some good humor along with some gore but overall not as scary as I'd hope it be.

This movie is nothing that you expect it to be! It had me jumping out of my seat at times and has an unexpected ending! If you like a good thriller/horror like I do i recommend seeing this!
