Don't know what the comments below relate to but not this movie! This is a very good film, especially if you like Crimson Tide, Hunt for Red October etc. Well worth a watch, very well acted.

Some buddies and I took our nine year olds to see this movie. My kid had never seen the film before. The 3D effect was not very good. Compared to other recent epic 3D films, the 3D in this film was bad.

This film has its share of haters, but I've always enjoyed watching it. 3D looked impressive, but was not over the top. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the series in 3D.

My husband & myself are Star Wars buffs from way back & were so looking forward to watching Episode 1 in 3D! I suprised my hubby by purchasing the tickets in advance on my I touch (BTW I love that app..no more long lines..they just scan the barcode off my I Touch) for our pre-Valentine's date. After I told him what my present to him for v-day was, he was excited! We were definitely not disappointed!!! I had found myself seeing things that I had overlooked the hundreds of times I replayed the movie at home. Though we aren't allowed to keep the 3D glasses, it was definitely worth every penny spent! I fully encourage any of you Star Wars fans to see this in the theaters, you won't regret it! ;)

The storyline was unchanged, Yoda was rendered in CGI and, oh yeah, it was in 3D this time. The sounds was fantastic! Better than the first time I saw it. The crowd was really into the whole Star Wars genre. Costumes and lightsaber abound. As for the 3D effects, since the movie was not originally filmed in 3D it can be forgiven for the lack of excitement or the thrill of items or people appearing more real. Overall, it was nice to see it again on the big screen and enjoy the full surround sound a digital experience has to offer. Mr. Lucas, thank you for the memories. Please take the $40 million you are going to make on this movie and start making Episodes 7,8 and 9. Oh, and let someone else direct them. Or co-direct them.
