I saw this at SXSW and they're pretty good at picking fun movies. I particularly enjoyed this for the many many references to past films many of which will not be familiar to today's audience or even the critics. After you watch this go find Brian de Palma's Phantom of the Paradise. The music is quite good with a great mix between Broadway show music and (pun?) thrasher heavy metal. The twists were also quite enjoyable. We were able to question the Director and his collaborator after the movie and gleaned some interesting insights into how it was put together.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this movie! It was entertaining the whole way through, and I found it very funny. The part I think I loved the most was the fact that they referenced old school horror flicks throughout the movie. If you're a fan of horror or dark comedies, I'd say this is a must watch.
