saw an advanced preview: the knights of the round table context makes for hilarious situations. Great creativity and wit. Wonder if they will be able to keep that up for the next one (#4)? Star Wars #4, "episode 1" was pretty bad but then again, 5 & 6 found their groove back.

The third insallment of Shrek is once again a testament to amazing art direction and long hours spent in the animation studio. But those long hours could have been served better if the screenwriter had spent that same amount of time developing the script more fully. What the previous Shrek's had in abundance was originality, and this third installment didn't have it. But don't let this stop you from seeing this movie, original or not it is still fun to revisit these characters from Far, Far Away and there are still all the funny puns and sight gags which make the series entertaining. There's even some cute baby ogre's in there. I give it a "Go" but not a "Must Go" because you won't miss anything if you decide to wait and rent it.

They should have stopped at the second movie. I am a big Shrek fan. I loved the first two movies. It seemed to me the movie script was put together at the last minute. Mike Myers movie lines were very dry and not funny at all. If you watch the movie trailer, you have just seen all the funny parts in this movie. I guess the movie producers ran out of funny material. What a dud... I have a 4 and 6 year old son and daughter and they thought this movie stunk. Sorry Shrek, better luck next time. Maybe someone will come to your rescue someday. Dreamworks kiiled Shrek!!!

I actually got to go see Shrek the third this past Thursday (May 3rd) due to an advanced screening opp. It was really good, everyone in the audience laughed a LOT!! I'm an animation major, so I loved the intense amount of detail they put into every character. The new characters are adorable, they bring such life to the show and it was just so funny!! Definitely go see it. I'm not one for sequels, but this one gets a GOLD STAR and TWO THUMBS UP!!!

Adults should be ashamed of yourselves for giving shrek a bad rating if you did because this movie is not for you! It is for the kids. My daughter loved it as she has loved all three shrek movies! She waited for this one ever since the commercials came on a few months back for the movie and the look on her face proved it was worth the wait. The movie had some humor for both me and my daughter.
