Elena Satine was born in Tbilisi, Georgia (former USSR) and raised on the Black Sea Coast of the Russian Riviera. Satine began her professional career at the tender age of 6 when she appeared on popular Children Variety show "Utrennaya Zvezda" (Morning Star). At age 9, already a winner of numerous international awards, Elena became the youngest performer to headline at "Kinotavr"-International Film Festival. In 1998 on a spontaneous trip to New York City, the young actress attended an open call for at the Professional Performing Arts School, and got accepted on the spot. After graduating with honors at age 16, Elena continued her Dramatic studies at the American Academy Of Dramatic Arts, as well as doing several international fellowships at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, UK and the Moscow Art Theater, RU.
Graduated with honors from New York's "Professional Performing Arts School" at age 16, after completing the 6 year Drama program.Completed several fellowship programs for young actors, training extensively in classical Shakespearean acting at the "Royal Academy of Dramatic Art" (RADA) in London, England; and the Stanislavsky Technique at the "Moscow Art Theater" In Moscow, Russia.Is a singer/songwriter, and a classically trained pianist.Learned French and Hungarian for her role as Countess Elena Andrenyi in "Murder on the Orient Express".Was considered for the role of "Black Widow" in Iron Man 2, the role eventually went to Scarlett Johansson.Was personally invited by director Julie Taymor and U2 front-man Bono to take part in a workshop for the Broadway Rock Musical "Spiderman, Turn Off The Dark" in which she performed the role of "Mary-Jane Watson". Actress Evan Rachel Wood performed in the role in an earlier Workshop.Is a descendant of Georgian Nobility "The House of Orbeliani".
