Forced to learn piano at the age of three, after several years of piano regime, began to hate piano of until seeing a fellow classmate play better than him, while after to master bass and percussion. A very competitive man, Gackt wants to be the best at everything, so he took up everything that his peers took up and became better than them. He has support band, GacktJOB, with who is most popular male soloist and singer in Japan, while up to now mastered several musical instruments, including but not limited to: Tuba, trumpet, horn, trombone, piano, guitar, bass, drums and more. Gackt speaks Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean and little bit of French.

Gackt was reportedly stunned and delighted beyond words, and he penned the song 'Metamorphoze' for the theme. Enlisting people he found on the streets, he made regular New Yorkers the stars and subjects. The people held up signs and drawings expressing their hopes and asking for peace.
