Wow! Secretariat was one amazing stallion! The movie was even better than I expected. This movie is a great movie for the entire family to see. There is no doubt that Diane Lane will receive an Oscar nomination for the role of Mrs. Penny Chenery. Hats off to another great performance by Mr. John Malkovich as best supporting actor. The entire cast was spectacular. I love a true story that has a happy ending. This is a must see you won't be disappointed...

Having been a teenager during the time of Secretariat's heydays, I was eager to see this film. I was not disappointed. Along with the retelling of the horse's glory, I so enjoyed the character development evinced In Penny Tweedy through Diane Lane's portrayal of her. I also savored the trip down memory lane of late '60s, early '70s USA. And, of course, as a Christian, I relished the connections made to "running the race" set before us with all that we have within us. Well done, Disney!

OMG. Took my granddaughter and I was around when the real horse won the triple crown but never knew the background. The movie brought tears of joy and anxiety and surprise even though I knew the outcome. Really a must see!

Best movie I've seen, perhaps ever, and I'd recommend it to anyone, especially families with teenagers who need to see how hard work gets good results. It's not only about the greatest racehorse ever, it's also about the strength and perseverance of a woman who inherits a horse farm with a huge debt and over- comes multiple obstacles in a world dominated by men. Diane Lane is perfect as Penny Sweeny. The screenplay and supporting actors (especially John Malkovich) were superb. If this movie does not win an Oscar then Oscar is a dope. PS: No one knew how Secretariat could win the Triple Crown 37 years ago (no one has done it since) while breaking the track record in all three races, and in the Belmont Stakes he won by 31 lengths going 1.5 miles in 2:24, a record that still stands. How did he do it? After he died in 1989 an autopsy revealed his heart was nearly twice the size of an average race horse. PS2: Retired to oats and
