This is a true horror movie: plot, gore, suspense, the works. It is beautifully filmed and is easy to see why it did well at Sundance. Tobin Bell is excellent, and all of the plot runs fairly smoothly. You may need to watch it three or four times to catch everything, but in my opinion it's definately worth it. A great flick.

This movie is a terrific horror masterpiece! This movie holds you at the edge of your seat the whole way. Unlike most horror movies these days, 'SAW' wasn't non- stop gore. There was blood and gore, but not a whole lot, only in a few scenes. I recommend this movie to everyone, it is an enjoyable mystery puzzle to watch be put together. 'SAW' is a good game to play. (If you haven't seen the movie, watch it and you'll get why that sentence is funny.) The DVD is definitely a keeper. I could see this movie being remade one day and it will never stand up to the way it is now.
