While pretensions snobby etc people and rich republicans- wanna be watching "50/50", some people DO have/had dysfunctional families. While not all of them from a trailer park, though. The Dirty Girl movie IS entertaining. Totally unpredictable. Off the track, no stupid cliches, no predetermined moments where you are supposed to laugh (As you was trained by a move trailer). But it IS FUNNY. It's DEEP. It touches you. Not all of the actors play very well, however, all of them play MUCH better than your usual "must go" movie. And those actors who play well,, well. I believed it. I lived through. The movie changed me. It made me realize so many things. I've become better and much happier person. I made a huge step to find myself.

I saw this movie last night at the ArcLight, it was amazing! What a refreshimg change from all the junk that is being released these days. I can hardly believe that critics don't like this. All I can think is that they are not comfortable with strong women and or gay males, what a shame in this day and age. The music is fantastic, I am going to buy the soundtrack. As one who was raised in the midwest durring the 80"s the hairdo's and outfits were spot on! It was a walk down memory lane. If you are up for some great humor, I highly recommend this movie.

Amazing! Magical. Unforgettable. I laughed. I cried. Great acting performances throughout. Let me be the First to say, Abe Sylvia has created a Masterpiece that will be Loved by all.

this movie I enjoyed. It was fun to watch. Good story . The language was not as bad as I have seen in other movies. Not a kid movie but good for adults.
