Great movie in which I enjoyed the plot more then action. Good acting across the board. For many they will not understand this plot breakdown as most are expecting a Prequel to Alien and Aliens etc - This is not that - this story takes place in the same story universe and does explain some of what happens in Alien/Aliens, but its not about a tie into those stories. The planet and ship are not the ones in Alien. If you require your brain held through each step of a plot you should skip this movie....go home and take a tack hammer to your face instead. I enjoyed the movie a lot!

I loved it. Being that I can remember when Alien came out. When I first heard that R Scott is making a movie about what's takes place before Alien, I was skeptical at first. I mean, who thinks that they can better the original right??? The script has to be solid, acting has to be excellent, special effects has to be spot on. Does this movie do that? YES! I liked the premise of the origin of how the story began. That was pretty clever. I loved how they used genetics to show how the aliens came to be. Michael Fasbender was awesome. He stole the movie in my opinion. If you are wanting to see "the aliens" then this is not the movie. This is about origins and I think R Scott did a great job. I can only hope that they continue the story line and I want too see how Shaw does finding the home planet.... I give this movie a Must Go See!!
