i really dont know why people are complaining about the film,both myself and my wife went to see skyfall about a week ago and we really enjoyed it,to me it had everything in a film that i enjoy,i have heard nothing but praise for the movie from people i know at work,they werent dissappointed and neither were we.great film in my book

I have high expectations of Bond, especially since rebooting the franchise with Daniel Craig. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace both delivered powerful Bond presence. Skyfall should be renamed SkyFAIL. It is solemn, morose, lacks depth in plot, and is heavily plot driven with little action. So heavy plot with a lacking plot makes for a strange experience. I just couldn't quite seem to figure out how this fit in with the serial of the new reboot. It seemed to stand alone and have no purpose. It's the having no purpose part I did not like, other than the fact it transitions us to a new MI6. A New M. A New Q. Aside Javier Bardem's brilliant performance, at its core the film still misses its shot somewhere. It simply fails to deliver powerful Bond presence. Let's hope the new franchise does not continue forward like this. We need another Bond film very soon to make up for this loss.

Skyfall is closer to Quantum of Solace then Casino Royal. The Bond girls are probably the 2 worse I have ever seen. There are not enough cool cars or gadgets you normally see in a Bond film. I came in with high hopes and was dissapointed again.

The negative: There are a few scenes in this movie that we've seen before in movies, for example, fight scene in a train going into tunnels, motorcycle chase on rooftop, been there, done that. There was also one scene in particular, a train crash in tunnel that looked real cheesy. I also didnt care for the may bad guy, could have found someone better. The Plus: Everything else, with the little bit of negative I wrote above, this was really a great movie, one of my favorite Bond movies. I think what made this movie better in my opinion is the fact that they didnt get carried away with far fetch gadgets and chase scenes, they took it back a notch to old school, where you can believe it more. I also like the way they introduce us to a whole new reboot of the Bond characters, which I wont reveal as I dont want to give away to much of the movie itself. Daniel Craig did a great job as Bond, and the story itself was good. I would give this 3 1/2 stars out of 4 myself, enjoy :)

Well it starts off interesting....but the action is rather short lived and mundane. There's nothing new, no new gadgets no classic Bond....Craig looks 20 years older and the portrayal of him being used up and out of it does really no good. The last half of the movie is the death of M and the action of blowing up an old house in the English countryside seems to take forever and the name of the estate being "SKYFALL" is typical..... The lack of Sex and "bond girls" is apparent of the Old guy....I guess that this is the retirement of Daniel Craig...who never really fit like Pierce Brosan or Sean Connery.....I guess I'm just too old too...... Q (the kid) and the new "Money Penny" just doesn't cut it....and the revelation that Bond had a "Gay trisk" really sinks the ship
