The bond film still contains the very dramatic and also very beautiful opening sequence with Adele singing. Not having the opening sequence is like not having a James Bond film at all, it is very expected. In Skyfall we are presented with a very mortal Bond, which gives him a more human characteristic than before. Daniel Craig's acting also helps us believe Bond's pain and also makes us sentimental. Cinematography is immaculate and gives the settings punch. The film takes you to exotic locations and won't make you as dizzy with fast cut scenes like Quantum of Solace did. With the film running over 2 hours, you do get your money's worth in content. Slight humor here and there was present and at some points the movie slowed down quite a bit, but only to pick up pace to an intense action scenes where the audience prays for Bond to win. The ending is very dramatic with lots of explosions and not typical of a Bond ending. Both fans, and regular audiences will love this film.

I went to this movie at a midnight premiere. I would just like to comment about how many people were dressed up in tuxedos and dresses (bond girls). Anyway, this movie is an emotional roller coaster filled with action, suspense, and an unexpected amount of humor. I must say that at multiple times, I found myself watching the movie with a gaping jaw and the thought, "did that really just happen?" This is a must see movie. Daniel Craig is an excellent bond who goes through some emotional scenes in this movie. Obviously I'm not going to give them away! All I will say is that you get a glimpse of James Bond's past. A must see for all ages (except the little ones- obviously for the violence)

What's to say about a decades old franchise like Bond? It has become a brand with EXTREME quality control and as such, NEVER diverts from either its formula or its product quality in order to ensure longevity in profits to its investors. In a word, Bond is manufactured entertainment at its finest and as such, this installment is top quality as well. Perhaps the Bond films are a bit formulaic but through the many prequels leading to this one, they've maintained both modern appeal and audience loyalty by delivering what people go to movies for. Throughout two hours plus, when one sees a Bond film, we are transported through vicarious experience into a visual world so distracting as to have us nearly forget our present worldly lives and to become engaged in other mindful thoughts as elicited in plot by the visual and auditory actions of those moments. In essence we are thoroughly entertained. That's the value of this movie and its ticket. See it. You won't be disappointed in this escape.

James Bond 007 is back, not you 007 of the past. Daniel Craig's Bond has 'Swagger'. Really liked Craig's rugged, stone cold, ice blue stare darker Bond and the ability to use old techniques instead of heavily relying on technology. Without giving away the ending, in the end it paid off. How can you fight what you can't see? There was loads of symbolism in this movie. In the one scene, where Craig is being ushered in on a boat and passes thru the mouth of two dragons, looked like a scene straight out of Heliophant, I Pet Goat, II. Shout out to MKUltra, as "Orphans make the best Agents". Naomie Harris' character, Eve, complimented 007, unlike that tired Catwoman in TDKR. Eve added the right amount of finess, humor and strength she had Bonds back. Xavier "No Country for Old Men" Bardem was an unrelenting brilliant villan. His psyop, psychotic homosexual character, with the over bleached, over processed hair was all over the place, but on point with his mission. Skyfall may oversell TDKR.

When you are looking at your watch during a bond movie you know there is something not right. No plot, loose ends and goofy characters. Q's replacement isn't at all convincing. The main evil guy looks like an unemployed hairdresser. Ms Moneypenny is too soft a charater. Nooooo edged to her. The other bond girl looks like a New Orleans cross dresser. Yeah it's that bad. No really it is. Couldn't they have killed off M in a more traditionally bond way?
