Great movie and suitable for younger kids and adults. From what i remember there wasnt any curse words. Usually when there is no curse words the movie sucks, but the cast on this movie was amazing. They made the movie so hilarious. This is a must see!!!

Feels like a two-hour Will Ferrel SNL skit. Completely over the top, ridiculous, and totally understanding of the fact that they cannot repeat the gloriousness of the first one. So they just went crazy for this one. Very fun.

Anchorman 2 plays like a really long digital short style parody of the original Anchorman. Instead of writing original jokes and building on the success of the first, they rehash all of the tropes from the first in a mostly predictable fashion. But, they don't even seem to be able to reuse their own jokes correctly, lending to the feel of self-parody. More surprisingly, the comedic chemistry of the actors in the first is all but gone in the second. Which can probably be blamed on the bad writing. The script relies so excessively on one liners any believable relationships between the characters disintegrates. Perhaps most disappointing is how little life Will Ferrel gives to the Ron Burgundy character. He at times seems to be playing an imitation of Ron Burgundy while in the first he *was* Ron Burgundy. It's just bad, real bad. And it's a damn shame.

After seeing overplayed comedy sequels tank (ahem, Austin Powers franchise), I went in expecting a dud, with overplayed versions of the same jokes from the first movie. This one exceeded expectations! We were laughing so much in the theater that we certainly missed follow up jokes. Must see it again to catch what i missed!

You know I don't follow the NBA! That set the tone and though they tried a bit too hard in some scenes the movie was a riot! Great performances by everyone, I laughed my ***off.
