Unlike some series where they just keep getting worse, the Ice Age movies seem to be at least holding steady in quality, which is great if you really enjoyed the first 3 as we did. Lot's of laughs in this installment and the voice talents are awesome! We didn't see the 3D version but it was still very good in plain ol' 2D.

We are witnessing what is a profoundly significant morphing of movies into a digital world--where whatever the writers want to express--they can. The character, Scrat" holds the series together and provides a thread of comic relief (sometimes rather harmlessly grim). And as I said, the script writers have free rein. It will only get better. The detail of physics, movement and character detail is now magnificent but more and more is yet to come. Everyone who sees this movie (not 'film') should contribute comments to help the artists and engineers punch through this explosion of ability. By the way, the rendering of hair, muscles, and skin over skeleton is extremely good. The physical reaction of characters running about on a floating iceberg is the best I have seen. Please praise it if you like it. Recommendation, see it and appreciate it for the gateway is is. Your children will be able to say "I remember when."

Went last night to see the newest Ice Age movie. It was one of the better ones that we have seen in a very long time. The whole family really enjoyed it.

This movie was entertaining, the new cast member voices were lots of fun - especially Wanda Sykes as Granny - and no parent left that theater thinking that they lost another hour and a half of their life. Parents will enjoy this movie just as much as kids. My boys LOVED it and are still quoting the movie...

Loved this movie! Why? It touches on historical facts about our planet, touches the heart and touches your funny bone! The grand kids (ages 7-11) loved it as much as I did! Jennifer Lopez does a great job of voicing Shera. So glad she joined the already awesome cast! Any movie that teaches kids (all of us actually) to value Family and Friends rates high in my book. Go see this movie with people you love!
