I loved it. Being a race driver myself I loved the period accuracy of the cars, but even a non race fan will find it a great movie.

While not of the magnitude of the Yankees / Red Sox rivalry, a wonderful depiction of differences and personal challenges of the individuals - combined with development of mutual respect and regard between talented opponents.

I thought the story line was great! The F1 cars were cool to see running again. But being an F1 fan and watching every race on TV, I was hoping there was more action shots of the cars. Not saying the action shots were bad, just too short for me.

This is a go even if you aren't into racing. If you are into cars, racing, racing cars, the oily bits of cars, excellent cinematography, a good true story, and a good rivalry...Rush is a must go. Rush chronicles the history of Niki Lauda and James Hunt. Chris Hemsworth gives a credible performance. Daniel Brühl steals the show! Their performances perfectly depict the polar opposite personalities of Lauda and Hunt. The story is mostly truthful, but could have incorporated even more of the real life drama of these two F1 icons. As with any modern movie based on a true story, there is some exaggeration and some key reality moments that are omitted. There is some nudity, language, and drug use, but it doesn't feel like you're watching an R rated movie. With a good story and great execution, Rush is fun time in a tidy package. "Rush" was outstanding!!! Went in to the movie with a wish list of things I wanted to see about the world of Formula 1 and came out a fan of both James Hunt and Nikki Lauda. What a great story about the lives of 2 men that took 2 completely different paths to win F1 World Championships. A masterpiece!
