Storyline:
Dr. Patricia Agnew, a psychologist, has written a best seller about marriage: hers and those of three other couples who together take a week's vacation each year to ask themselves, "Why did I get married?" It's time for one of those weeks, and all four relationships are strained: Patricia and her husband Gavin have the shadow of grief between them; Terry believes that Diane has abandoned him for her work; Angela, who's built a successful business, belittles her husband Marcus, who works for her; Mike is cruel to Sheila, his religious, overweight wife. During the week, each person's secret comes out. Will these marriages survive?

Hi Fan Friends! We had time for a couple of movies this week and my guy picked Hot Tub.We both were disgusted, but kept watching because we are J.Cusack fans. We felt just plain yucky afterwards. Even him,who has broader opinions than I do regarding raunchy movies. My pick was T.P.!!! And we both loved it,and the good messages and tasteful comedy that you can depend on with this man. Felt as some others that the ending was too rushed, and IMHOJ.jackson is not very good.Yelling and screaming is something anyone can do,and it was an emotional time in her real life. Other than her tantrums, she was distant and not convincing of anything. Just don't get what everyone is saying about how she was so great. ....Still think it is a great movie and we will spend the money more than once in support of clean, yet fun and realistic, theater movies. bye

The movie was funny, and had a lot of twists and turns. It blended well with the first one and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire movie.I have already told every contact in my cell phone to go see it!!!! AND NOT BOOTLEG IT. iT WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!

DMreview
Tyler Perry's growing talent for film making comes through loud and clear in this sequal.
HIs wisdom in revisiting the story of these four couples (plus one) to dig deeper into their relationship experiences will be demonstrated by the fans once the movie comes to the theatres this April 2. While I am not at liberty as yet to reveal the many great suprises and heart touching turns, I can say that this is one of the best Tyler Perry movies yet. And the cast
all does such an amazing job that is seems they were made for their parts. You will enjoy.

Just got back from my third viewing of this movie. This time I took my 24 daughter, and she was impressed. I said in my first review that I thought J.Jackson was too stilted until she got to her upset scenes, but now I realize her character is like that. Holding things in,until she can't take it anymore...so she played it very well, and I am happy to admit I was wrong. I am so impressed with T.Perry work and boldness and talent....could go on and on. Lots of great insight that people who can't or won't go to counseling for can get.And of course the opportunity to let us see belief in God being portrayed positively. Criticisms are few. First- Angela..nice part, but overplayed to where it can distract from the story. Second-Troy seemed to have a little trouble acting in a couple of group scenes, and third- the strange ending was really incongruent ,after witnessing Patricia's rage and what eventually happened. Still will spend more money to support Mr. Perry's faithful work.
