my main problem was the fact that the previews showed all the funny parts. the first opening scene is when he jumps over the uninforced ramp and crashes. The story line was like something from a spongebob episode, where he must raise enough money for his step father by doing outrageous things for cash. Wait till it comes out on DVD or HBO.

This is honestly one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I saw it in an advance screening a few nights ago, and Andy Samberg does a fantastic job as Rod Kimble. It was one of those stupid comedy movies, and you have to have that kind of sense of humor to find it funny. If you are a fan of Napoleon Dynamite, The Office, and comedy like that, you will LOVE it! My whole family LOVED it, and everyone in the theatre clapped when it was over. It will not get good reviews from critics because it is not one of those "Oscar Winner Movies", but seriously, it is AMAZING. I can't wait for it to come out on August 3rd to see it again!

Hot Rod started off funny but a few minutes into the movie I knew it would be stupid. The acting was terrible! The story was so stupid and there was really only one funny part and it was Rod falling down a hill. He came out without a scratch but when he falls of his motor bike he almos dies. A very stupid part was when he was with his brother and he keeps repeating the words "Cool Beans." And also when he was about to do his stunt he looks at animals in his head. One more thing, The whole movie sucks! When it ended I actually screamed "Boo." DO NOT waste your money on this movie. I hope that it dosen't make anymore money and I hope that the actors are never in any other movie again. I advise you not to see the Worlds Worst movie ever.

So I am a HUGE fan of silly comedies and it's been a LONG time since something came out that really had me in tears.... this accomplished that in the first 15 minutes.... and had me laughing just as hard the rest of it... I took my 13 year old son, who LOVED it as much as me. It was just a REALLY good comedy! As said before, and I agree, this movie probably won't win any Oscars.. and if you're not a fan of silly comedy, then it's probably not for you. BUT, if you have even a bit of funny bone in you, GO SEE THIS!!! This is well worth the price of admition and I cannot wait for it to come onto DVD to buy it and watch it again.. and probably again... and again.... you get the point. :D

Take Talageda Nights and multiply the comedy by 4, and some crazy *** stunts and some funny original songs and you have Hot Rod. One of the Best this year. This is a must go. I laughed though the whole movie. Even the parts that would normally be sad, you will laugh you head off. I cried of laughter during one part. I highly recommend you see Hot Rod by any means.
