Yael Grobglas was born on 31 May 1984 in Paris, France to Jean Pierre and Eva Grobglas. Yael moved to Israel with her parents, where her talent and passion for performing arts became visible at an early age. As a teenager, Yael studied different styles of dance and performed in a professional dance group. She had a brief modeling career with Elite Modeling agency and participated in a number of runway shows and advertising campaigns. Having realized that her true passion is acting, Yael started taking acting classes. After participating in a few small projects, Yael was cast for the sci-fi TV series "Ha'Yi" (the Island), which made her popular among Israel's young audiences. Having done two consecutive seasons of the show, Yael enrolled in full-time studies at the Yoram Loewenstein Performing Arts Studio. During her studies, Yael completed an additional season of Ha'Yi, and was cast for a number of major commercials. Her consecutive roles in the first Israeli horror film "Kalevet", the sitcom "Ha-Sualim" (the Foxes) and a number of recent guest appearances exhibit Yael's great versatility and range.
