Raised on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, Elitsa arrived to Canada in 1998. Following a degree from Multimedia Design Elitsa pursued acting despite not having any previous experience. After many appearances in short films and some commercials, Elitsa's career took a turn when she booked a small role in the feature film "Sweet Karma", which premiered at the 2009 Fantasia Film Festival in Montreal. Gathering praise and applause from press and industry insiders the film screened at various festivals before gaining international distribution. Bako's major break came when she landed the lead on APTN's original pilot/series "The Time Traveler". After a nation-wide search, Elitsa was chosen to portray the role of a young girl traveling from the future to current time with a mission to save the world. Elitsa is currently shooting the defiant and compelling web-series "CLUTCH" in which she plays a pickpocket who will do whatever it takes to survive.
