Born and raised in Regina Saskatchewan, Kent Nolan is an actor and filmmaker. Kent began acting when he was five. Having started off in musical theatre, he began film acting at age twelve. At sixteen Kent wrote and directed his first award winning short film entitled "Presage", leading to numerous others. After he graduated high school, Kent moved to Toronto and trained classically in acting at the George Brown Theatre School. He has appeared in over forty theatre productions and is featured in over twenty films and television series, combined. Career highlights include working with Academy Award nominated filmmakers; Terry Gilliam in Tideland, and John N. Smith in The Tommy Douglas Story. Other highlights include working with filmmakers Jennifer Lynch in Surveillance and the feature film Stage Fright by Sundance award winner, Jerome Sable. Kent also continues his passion for directing and writing. In 2013, he directed the short film "Issues" for Bravo. He is currently developing a sit-com and as well as first two feature films, Roomies and Silus.
