Jason Boyd was born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland and spent his early childhood living in rural Newfoundland learning how to hunt and fish at an early age. By the age of 5, he would wrestle with bear cubs in the springtime. Jason Boyd worked previously as a Vice President of a major Collection Agency in Toronto prior to perusing acting. He changed careers to live a happier more positive life. His choice to change careers was brought on by a serious life threatening illness that he has beaten. Jason has sense been a very spiritual person and working in a negative environment did not go with his new outlook on life.
