Spencer Boldman was born July 28, 1992 in Dallas, Texas and grew up in the suburb of Plano. He was coaxed into trying out for his school's production of A Mid Summer Night's Dream after a teacher saw him perform in his theater class. Spencer ended up getting a lead role in the play and his passion for acting grew from there. When he wasn't performing on stage growing up, Spencer could be found playing lacrosse or football. From a young age one of Spencer's favorite things to do was watch movies. Some of his favorites include Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Rebel Without a Cause, The Shining, On the Water Front, and Taxi Driver. It was during his freshman year in high school that Spencer decided to give television and film acting a try and enrolled in a local acting class. After about a year and a half, Spencer was introduced to a talent manager, who introduced him to an L.A. agent and the rest is history. Spencer admires the professional works of Jack Nicholson, Marlon Brando, and Paul Newman.
