Cleo Berry moved from his native state of Little Rock, Arkansas to New York City at the tender age of eighteen. Like most youngsters migrating to the Big Apple he had his eyes set on becoming a star! But when many of his classmates ran from the business he stayed and worked hard to make a name for himself. During his last semester at The American Musical and Dramatics Academy he began booking jobs immediately. Thanks to his knack for comedy and ability to create complex characters he has been blessed to acquire quite an impressive resume. He has been the funny guy in many Commercials and Promos. Some notable ones are Sony TV, Nickelodeon, Mastercard, Culligan Water and many PSAs. His amazing Tenor singing voice is known and very respected in the Theatre world. He has acquired many fans performing in Top Theaters around the United States. He created the role of "Theo" in the 1st National Tour of "Children's Letters To God" and was the first African-American to portray "Horton" in the National Tour of "Seussical The Musical". You might also know him as Ty in the "Common Ground" DVD series. He can also be seen in a number of Back To School DVD series. He graduated from The American Musical and Dramatics Academy, NY in 2004.He skipped his College Graduation in order to attend a Feature Film Callback.He booked his first Commercial audition ever...It was for "MTV's Sucker Free Sunday", The next day he booked a "Noggin Channel Promo" and he did it without an Agent or Manager.He trained in the Art of Taekwondo and played Football before realizing his dream of becoming an Actor.He booked his very first Voiceover with Janet Hubert-Whitten (The mom from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air). He almost passed out when he walked into the studio and saw her standing there waiting to play his mom!.
