The psychiatrist and host of the radio talk show Talk Line, Dr. Sonny Blake, returns to Rosewood Lane, in Stillwater, one year after the death of her father to live in his house. Scottish archaeologist Angus Flint discovers an odd skull amid the ruins of a convent that he is excavating.
