Storyline:
Norbit is a normal person, who after being adopted by Mr. Wong, ends up being married to the very large, Rasputia. Norbit's childhood love, Kate Thomas arrives back in town to buy the orphanage. Norbit sees this as his chance to get back together with Kate, until he discovers that she is in fact engaged to Deion Hughes. Norbit isn't going to lay this to rest, whilst he tries to survive life with Rasputia, and it looks like Deion also has something he would like to keep secret.

Norbit is probably the funniest movie I have ever seen! Eddie Murphy did a great job playing Rasputia, Norbit, and the unforgetable.. Mr.Wong! My favorite parts were when Mr.Wong's toast at the wedding, the entire waterpark scene, the wine cooler/ block party scene, and everything including Pope Sweet Jesus, and Lord Have Mercy!!!! Whoever didn't see Norbit should definitly see A.S.A.P!!!!!!!!!!!! "How You Doin" !!!!!!!!!!!!!

After watching the preview on Fandango, I decided this film must be "The Nutty Professor" with a slightly more adult twist. So I took my ten year old son for an Easter outing. After forty minutes, I took him out, embarrassed to have been so wrong. Eddie Murphy took the gentle humor of his Nutty Professor films and twisted it into offensive stereotypes. Unlike the other movies, in my opinion Murphy never lost himself under the makeup, but merely did quick SNL caricatures without the underlying humanity. The trailer should really have been more explicit about the extensive sexual "humor" in the script. Next time I'll read user reviews before buying a ticket.
