Storyline:
In Brooklyn, amid drug deals, violence, casual racism, poverty, housing projects, and corrupt cops, we follow three officers: Tango, African-American, working undercover, believing he's earned a promotion to a desk job but told he has to set up the bust of an ex-con who saved his life; Sal, who'll commit murder to get cash to buy a house big enough for his family; and, Eddie, the precinct's oldest beat cop, a week to go before retirement, assigned to mentor an earnest rookie. Can this end well for any of the three?

Saw at Sundance this year. Not as good as I expected, even though I was excited about the amazing cast. It dragged for me in a few places. It was just OK in my book.

It was nothing fine about this movie. This movie was slow and monotone. In fact, it was so awful you will never connect with any of the characters. There was no good guys or bad guys; it was just a bunch of guys with well known names and faces. Movies should be just like any other purchase, it you are dissatisfied and obviously I was, you should be entitled to at least some of your money back. Please I'm begging you my fellow movie goers, learn from my mistake. We have to look out for each other because it's obvious the industry cares less about quality; more about names, and nothing about the fans. Moms and dads do not go to this movie with your children of any age.

This is a very well made multi-drama that deserves a good,tough audience. However,they messed it up by putting in way too much female nudity and vivid sex scenes. Totally not needed. Some movie makers are getting smarter,apparently not this crowd.All four lead males and the main supporting male were spot-on in their roles. And I am not even that big a fan of Gere or Snipes. Hawke is golden. Cheadle is one of my favorites in contemporary films anyways...but even an objective fan would say he was wonderful. These men's stories were good material. It is a rough watch that gets your heart and mind churning. SADLY THOUGH, I WOULD NOT BE A CONSCIENTIOUS REVIEWER IF I RECOMMEND SEEING IT: DUE TO PORNOGRAPHY. I wont spend more money on it! . Hope you don't either.

The movie moved slowly. It had a lot of violence, nudity, sex acts and vulgar language. It took you through the lives of several cops -all bad - at the same time (similar to Crash). It is definately not a movie to watch if you want to be entertained. It may score points with the critics.
The actors did okay but the story was extremly slow moving and it felt like it would never end.
BORING, COOL CLIMAX ENDING SUCKED
