OK....Gina Carano isn't going to win an Oscar any time soon. Having said that, Haywire is a very solid action flick full of outstanding action scenes in which Ms. Carano gives a better than expected performance for a first-timer. Her martial arts skills are apparent as she punches, kicks and chokes her way through most of the male characters. She's already a better actor than Chuck Norris ever was. Throw in a supporting cast of veterans like Douglas. Paxton Banderas, etc all as good as usual and you end up with a movie well worth the price of admission.

Great action and a kick butt female lead. The camera work was very interesting and kept you on your toes. The fight sequences were awesome and very believable. Hollywood needs to do more like this film! Enjoyed it immensely!

At the end of this movie, i had to turn to my girlfriend and ask her if we just got punk'd. Im not much of one to write a review, but i felt oh so compelled to do so after watching this atrocity. ok, i guess you can call this a spoiler alert? the movie consists of people saying "BARCELONA" and then her beating up a bunch of people, maybe calling her dad, someone saying "BARCELONA" then her going to a party with some guy, her saying "TELL THEM ABOUT BARCELONA" then her sticking a pillow to some guys head and killing him. Oh, and antonio benderas had a hell of a CAMEO at the end of the movie, he appeared for all of 30 seconds with nobody understanding what his role was. Oh and dont even get me started on the music. Random piano style music while she is (for some reason) running all around the top of buildings and away from all these different people (WHY?!!?) and then as soon as she starts to beat someone up, the music stops and its just the awkward sound of her fists on peoples faces.

Haywire is an action-packed thriller about a lioness named Mallory. Gina Carano is awesome as Mallory; she plays a former Marine (once a Marine, always a Marine ? Simper Fidelis!). If you love Marines, you will love this movie. If you love Bruce Willis, Steven Segal, Bruce Li, Claude Van Damme, or Jet Li kick-action flicks, you will love this movie. If you long to see justice, you will love this movies. If you love strong women, you will love this movie. If you love self-empowered women or have always wanted to actually see one, you will love this movie. It?s great to know that women can have a hero too.

This movie was boring. The trailers made it seem like it was full of action and no. It was not. The fight scenes were good with simple audio that made it seem real. They really put a beat down on her in some scenes. She obviously showcase her fighting skills. Other than that it was very reminiscent of oceans 12. They tried to hard to recreate oceans 11 and it failed. He music was similar to the oceans movies an it took a lot away from some of the scenes. The story could have been interesting but in the end it moved along very slowly, just when you thought it had dragged on too long, they would through in a good but short fight scene. Why did we need to watch her chase a guy through the streets for 7 minutes? Okay movie but wait for Netflix or redbox.
