Not quite a classic like Office Space and Idiocracy, but a very nice Mike Judge story about the usual sane everyman surrounded by craziness. A few hilarious moments but mostly wry humor about how ridiculous Americans and our culture are. I didn't even mind Ben Affleck, who I usually can't stand, as a bewigged drug-addled loser (yes, if you work in a sports bar attached to a Marriott, guess what, you are a loser!). Jason Bateman is perfect and adorable as the too-nice guy struggling with midlife crisis. Then again, I could watch him pick his nose for an hour and a half and be happy. Overall, I think if you like Judge's other films you'll enjoy this one too.

I liked this movie but it isnt something ill watch again for a while.. has some really funny moments but nothing gut busting... worth renting.

The ending was not good at all. The whole movie was blah and was not funny. Had a few light moments but not worth sitting through the entire movie. I would expect more from Bateman and Affleck.

Random events and boring acting.

The humor didn't come across as intelligently as "Office Space" or even "Idiocracy". A lot of the jokes relied on drugs or testicles and we all know Mike Judge is above that. Outside of that, though, it's a decent enough movie and worth a rental.
