Storyline:
At a July 4 barbecue, gramps tells the kids the story of Michael Malone, a documentary filmmaker and Michael Moore look-alike who hates America and wants to abolish July 4th. He refuses to celebrate with his nephew Josh, who's shipping out soon to the Middle East. That night, Michel has a vision of his hero, JFK, who predicts that three ghosts will visit Michael. Sure enough, General Patton, George Washington, and country music star Trace Adkins visit Michael show him the fruits of patriotism, just wars, and pacifism. Meanwhile, Arab terrorists want Malone to help them with a propaganda film. Is he the next Leni Riefenstahl or will he see the light?

Finally there is a movie that is Pro-American. I am sick and tired of all the Communist Propaganda by the so called liberal leftists. As a legal naturalized proud American who came here with my family from behind the iron curtain I feel that this country, and what is was founded upon is dying. George Washington and Abraham Lincoln are turning over in there graves. Unfortunately, the average American has never lived under a different system so they are easily brainwashed. This movie, (even though it's a silly comedy) should be embraced. And I hope American people will wake up, and take their country back. Be proud of your country. It's still the best in the world.

This movie breaks NEW boundaries in humor. It's funny throughout - but from a Conservative perspective for the first time, rather than a liberal perspective - as every movie which has preceeded it.
The entire packed Theatre CLAPPED at the end of the Movie this evening - something I have not seen in a long time.
I rate it an "A", and the person who went with me rated it a "B"
DEFINITELY worth seeing!! You WILL laugh through this movie! The scenes mocking Terrorists, and the scene with George Washington and Jimmy Carter are PRICELESS! Kelsey Grammer is EXCELLENT as it Kevin Farley. Robert Davi turns in what may be one of the best performances EVER as The Terrorist.

Funny is funny. If we can all laugh at the Daily Show, the Colbert Report, and Lil' Bush, then we can laugh at this too.
I will say, if you are a liberal, you will just be outraged, but then again, if you are a liberal, being outraged is your full-time job, anyway, and would be no matter what was happening.

An American Carol is one of the best movies I've seen coming out of Hollywood. Nice to know that there are some in Hollywood not afraid of the Left. It refreshing and funny!
