Took my 5 year old and 7 year old and we all loved it. The next day the 5 year old already asked to see it again.

I saw this movie and though I was obviously not the target audience I enjoyed it. Characters: Most of the characters are pretty good, though there's really nothing new here. There's the love struck boy, the environmental chick, the wacky grandmother, the greedy corporate businessman, the environmental nut-ball and the young man who breaks his promises for greed. And cute animals. Story: Where I got distracted. They put more emphasis on the once-ler and his fall to greed. The entire time I was wondering why no one had the sense to plant more trees if they wanted to keep making money off of them. For kids it's a good movie, the characters still prove to be entertaining and the story is solid. There wasn't a descent into toilet humor or outright annoying moments, though the music is a bit random. Adults might see the giant plot holes and wonder about the dictatorship in the town. In the end though it's not painful for adults to watch and both will enjoy it (tho kids moreso)

I thought it was an extremely good movie and a good way to remind us as well as teach children to think of the result of our actions. As a whole, I feel we, as a generation, take things for granted thinking our actions have no effect on what is really valuable in our lives. The pleasures of nature and how much it enriches our lives and generations to come.

Loved the movie!! It is amazing on parts of the movie my 5 year old granddaughter really thought about. We had a pleasant chat about the movie and what it meant to her on the drive home. Not too sure what the Republicns have a beef about this movie.....We all should speak for the trees.
