It was not a brilliant movie. But, if you're looking for a movie that is entertaining and has a few good laughs in it too- you can't go wrong with this one! I would watch it again, just because it was fun. It was a good movie, and all around entertaining.

"The director of 'Iron Man' presents Bond, Indy and TronGirl fighting aliens in a western setting!" That's pretty much all I knew going into this movie. Unfortunately, that same statement is also all I could tell you about it hours AFTER I had seen the actually movie! I was really, really wanting to like this movie. I mean, Harrison Ford as a town sheriff sounds awesome by itself. So does Daniel Craig frying extraterrestrials with a laser while wearing a cowboy hat. Sounds like a dream movie that would never get made. Yet, somehow it did; and is only one-fourth of as satisfying as you dreamed it would be. Oh, and a somewhat unique and memorable storyline would have been nice as well. Unless this movie is my only choice, I will not watch it again. Then again, I can always read a book.

Cowboys and Aliens has a little something for everyone, the sci-fi monsters and space ship, a little romance, the aura of the old west with its interesting cowboy characters and indians, a kid, a dog, a beautiful girl and lots of action. I really enjoyed the movie, seeing it on the large screen with the amazing effects and surround sound explosions greatly enhanced the total experience.

My husband and I loved the movie.We was not sure if the concept would work,but it did! We plan on seeing again,it was great.
