Storyline:
Mike Lane is a thirty-year old living in Tampa,Florida. By day he works as a roofer while at night, as Magic Mike, he is the star attraction of the Kings of Tampa, a group of male strippers. Secretly he wants out in order to further a projected furniture-making business but his credit rating precludes a bank loan for this despite his considerable savings. One night Adam, a teen-aged work-mate of Mike, follows him to the club and, when one of the acts is unable to go on,he is prevailed upon to strip - becoming a huge hit. However success goes to his head and his foolish actions not only threaten to jeopardize his sister Brooke's relationship with Mike but Mike's ambitions as well.

This was the most Awesome Chick Flick EVER!! Great Music and Amazing dance movies by True Blood's Joe Manganiello and Step Up's Channing Tatum. Defintily Not For Kids or Guys with "homo issues" But Gotta Give The Men of "Magic Mike" Credit, They did amazing!!! The only downside was it needed a better ending.

The club scenes really make this film. There's a fantastic energy about them that drives everything else.
Channing Tatum is mesmerizing as a dancer; not so much as an actor. A lot of his scenes were cringe-worthy, and there's a distinct lack of chemistry between him and Cody Horn, who plays his "grown-up" love interest.In fact, Horn's performance in general is disappointing. I understand her character is supposed to be laid-back, but she needed a little life.
Matthew McConaughey is fun as the club owner Dallas. His performance is over the top in a few places, but it suits Dallas.
A couple of the supporting actors really stood out to me. Matt Bomer ("White Collar") showed a fun, playful, and very sexy side. Can't wait to see his complete dance routines on the DVD! And Joe Manganiello ("True Blood") looked great as a golden statue come to life.
Overall, a good film. More club scenes, and less time bogging down in the off-club story, would have helped. But definitely go!

i loved every second of it, the only thing i can say i didnt like was the ending. theres nothing i hate more than a cliff hanger but overall amazing! (:

This is a must see movie :D A lot of shirtless scenes. Channing Tatum showing off his dance skills. Your jaw will drop as soon as it starts. You will have a smile on your face all the way till the end! Might be a little inappropriate for kids, has some naked scenes. Other than that its a MUST SEE!!!!!!!
