Storyline:
Having left San Diego for New York City, Ron Burgundy is living the high life with his wife Veronica Corningstone and son Walter Burgundy. However, when the boss decides to promote Veronica to full time lead anchor and fire Ron, everything changes. Now heading back to San Diego, Ron is washed up and working part time at Sea World. His shot at redemption though comes in the form of a man named Freddie Schapp, who's an executive producer at the Global News Network, the world's first 24 hour round the clock news channel. He hires Ron, who proceeds to reunite the news team of Champ, Brick, and Brian, and head back to New York City. While there Ron and his news team are given the graveyard shift and a challenge. Ron comes up with a radical new idea to transform the news and that puts him at the top of the game once again. But how long will Ron's newfound fame last? And will Brick finally find true love?

The movie was great, full of everything you would expect after watching the first Anchorman. The end just kept on going and going slightly drawn out but still a great movie.

Okay, if you're looking for the movie to meet or exceed the first one, wait to rent. If you enjoyed the first one and want to see something as silly, by all means go. Just don't set your expectations too high. It has some great moments, but it doesn't have the same "magic" as the first one.

This is a horrible and stupid film.
there is no story line, no plot and no theme.
The acting is poor and mediocre at best and You've seen everything before in a C rated college movie from the 80's.
this movie is just really really bad.
I loved Anchorman and Will Ferrell and I was really looking forward to seeing this one as well. Sadly it just stinks.
Besides from a couple of good laughs it's a complete waste of time.
And I'm sorry for it.

If you were a fan of the 1st, you must go see the 2nd I found it every bit as ridiculous as the 1st without trying too hard or going the excessively raunchy route just for shock value. I can't wait to own this movie and watch all of the outtakes!
