Storyline:

Avengers was better. But this is a great movie. Excellent Effects. Incredible turn of events. You will be very surprised at what happens through out the film. Stay until after the credits are over for another surprise.

I can not begin to say how surprised I was that this third movie in the series was this time out!!!
All the characters were fabulous! The humor and action and plot were intense. (The humor surprised me! people were laughing out loud throughout the movie! I did not expect the humor!) The special effects were stunning!
The villains were almost nightmarish, there was serious tension, a ton of action and good character development.
It was a good and fun movie to watch and didn't seem as long as it was which is rare.
I am very pleased and I am over 50 and a woman who loves action-adventure movies like this.
Highly recommend!

Just got back home after watching this film in 2D (I'm beginning to tire of 3D because the screen is much darker than 2D) and I'm still processing it. But I will say it is worth the price of a matinee. It's a long film but there are several "set pieces" of action that are quite the payoff.
I won't give anything away about the ending or much about the plot, butI think it's a step up from "Iron Man 2" --- and the film broke several records with $68.3M domestic gross from 4,253 theatres on Friday. With social media and word-of-mouth, it on pace to make $650M globally.
Be on the look out for Gyneth Paltrow's abs (you won't miss them), Don Cheadle's incredible guns (and he used to be quite skinny!) and stay after the credits for a funny addendum. And I mean ALL of the credits. Many people got up and left before they caught it. And despite what you may see on the screen..."Tony Stark will return..." (ala James Bond).
Kids 8 and up with parents OK. Too intense for those younger.

There were some discrepancies, but all-in-all a fun movie. Humor was on point. Pepper...whoa...they moved up her game. I would recommend for most viewers.
