This was the most apparent left wing dribble I've seen in a long time, if you love Obama then go see it, you can love him more. This movie is a joke for the rest of us, don't waste your money and time.

If you're looking for a fast moving, non-intellectual, see lots of explosives movie with a cute kid thrown in, you should be all over this. I just have to say very satisfying and I'm still smiling the next day!

I want my money back. Even my 11 year old was annoyed with the dripping heroic portrayal of Obama (yeah, it's supposed to be Obama) and we couldn't believe the level of one sided politics. It's supposed to be a movie - entertainment - not a left-winger's fantasy civics lesson. Not to mention the fact that it is a terrible Xerox copy of Olympus Has Fallen - which we loved. Lessons learned: 1) All corporations are bad 2) All wars are caused by republicans 3) Republicans are in bed with corporations that build war equipment - that's how they get all their money 4) Military presence causes wars 5) World peace can be had in one day by eliminating all military presence 6) All democrats are heroes and beyond reproach and republicans are evil. Biggest disappointment: Jamie Foxx is easily exploited. Leave politics for appropriate forums - don't trick people into spending hard-earned money to have someone else's political fantasy shoved down their throats.

The Russians made better propaganda movies in the 1960's. This is nothing but an "I LOVE OBAMA" movie- remember Jamie Fox called Obama " Our Lord and Savior" once. Gee Hollywood- when will we EVER see a movie where the bad guy is a Democrat and the good guy is a Republican ? ..........crickets............... And I find it very odd that so many of the reviews on here loving the movie are using the exact same words and phrases ( "sitting on the edge of my seat"). Is the DNC paying people to write reviews praising it ?

I can't help but to compare White House Down to Olympus has Fallen. For the record, Olympus did it better. That being said, from the nature of the attacks to the execution of the character development, these movies are polar opposites. Olympus has Fallen was a no strings attached adrenaline rush. There were no immediate loved ones involved, no comedic frills, and no side fluff. All of which are found in White House Down. Channing Tatum stepped up his acting game for this role. Jamie Foxx obviously drew on Obama for his character's inspiration, but manages to retain the comedic nature we've come to know him for. While being more plot driven than Olympus has Fallen, White House Down is more playful than the serious Olympus...often to the point of being corny. There's still plenty of action and it holds its own for the entertainment factor. There is nothing during or after the credits If you like my reviews, add me as a fan. I'll add you back!
