Better FX, story remainedthe same. Spent a lot of time developing characters instead of shooting stuff..... Missed the "tv ads" from the original, although they did slip in 1 "I'd buy that for a dollar!"

What Alex Murphy goes through emotionally with his family is much more apparent in the 2014 version. The action is awesome and the story line is good.

I consider the original a classic. This very is a little less gory but still a good movie. Way more effort in this one to draw you in to the characters. Also, because of better technology in filming now I thought they added some cool scenes that couldn't have been done well years ago. Glad I went. If you like this type of movie you will love this.

Very intertaining, and action packed. awsome special effects. The plot was a little lacking but well worth the experiance. I saw this in IMAX and it was amazing.

Is it better than the original? No, but do not let that stop you from going to see it. It updates the concept and makes a good story. I can see squeals if butts are in the seats.. Go see it..
