Adam Sandler doesn't disappoint. Jack and Jill was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. And Al Pacino was quite a surprise! Katie Holmes was terrific. Just a fun time. You HAVE to see Adam playing his own twin!!

I did enjoy this movie, mostly because I had the kids with me (youngest 10 to oldest 16), and I didn't have to sit on the edge of my seat hoping that there was nothing inapropriate about to jump out at us! I'm not a huge fan of Adam Sandler, I do appreciate his humor, he is extremely funny, but usually with a man/child based Three Stooges sort of comedy that I'm not big on. That said, it was a good story lline. All ages enjoyed it and though some reviews said it was old school fart noise jokes, they worked, one of the clips was the Jewish sister who had Mexican food for the first time, the humor there was lost with the kids, but at least there were fart noises in the story line! In these hard times it is difficult to spend so much money at the movies, especially large families like mine, and leave feeling like you wasted your money. This movie, however was definately worth seeing, family friendly and we left still smiling!

I would give the movie three thumbs up. Although I am not a big fan of Adam Sandler as a comedian but I have enjoyed a number of his movies. My favorites are Spanglish, Click and most absolute favorite, Reign Over Me. I feel as though those movies showed the true side of Mr. Sandler as oppose to his comedic side. This movies was a "so-so" for me. I love the idea of him playing character roles of true men with real family values. This movie was not a good capture of a man who loves where he came from. The sister role was very much annoying and seemed quite stereo-typical. I feel as though the role played to the sympathy of the audience because the character was quite pathetic. Al Pacino was funny.

After "Bucky Larson," Sandler's last screenwriting attempt, anything, ANYTHING, would have been an improvement. He definitely redeems himself with this one. Known for over-the-top goofiness, A.S. takes his audience one step further this time by doing something HARD, pulling off drag AND being funny, without being offensive. Even the most die-hard cross dresser wouldn't be offended, since it's obvious end-to-end, nothing is off limits as far as political incorrectness is concerned. Peppered throughout with some of the most famous faces in film making cameo after cameo, the hilarity is nearly non-stop and this film is FUNNY. Film comedy is a hard gig. Doing it well is even harder. If you're an looking for a good laugh, this is just the ticket. The concept is family friendly over all, but probably wouldn't interest small children. It's teen safe and likely to be very popular among that age group, so grownups may want to do the later shows. See it. You won't be disappointed.
