Storyline:
20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End is the least of their worries.

Really enjoyed World's End. Makes fun of, well, world's end plots (also embraces) and also in my opinion satirizes "man-child" movies, all while going a bit deeper than prior Cornetto films. Also: Always enjoy him but this is easily Simon Pegg's best performance. Reactions spot on; also surprisingly moving, all with terrible hair. The whole cast is fun (always like Martin Freeman and the underrated Eddie Marsan and Rosamund Pike kicks some serious butt as well.) A few seriously crazy twists and turns and a controversial ending (that I liked but will certainly cause debate) are just part of the fun here.

I shoulda waited till it came out on dvd. Simon acted well in this simple comedy, and I liked that he had a lot of his previous actors in this, that was fun. But in the "end", I wished that I had spent my time watching another movie. Sad to say.

I loved Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz was funny, but The World's End had a bad plot with a bad ending. If you still want to see it, wait until it goes to DVD / Blu Ray / Netflix.

wow what a bit of a bummer that this movie just did not get moving like the other two. This one relied to heavily on crude comments and gestures that just lost all the impact and was actually boring.

If youve seen Shaun of the dead and hot fuzz you know exactly what to expect from this movie and it doesnt disappoint. The actors fall into familiar roles and play off themselves perfectly. The script is far fetched and the ending is a let down but all in all a good fun summer movie.
