Storyline:
Late at night, in an unnamed U.S. city, a solitary man sits at a bus stop. A pregnant woman runs by, pursued by a man with a gun. With reluctance, the man at the bus stop rescues her and assists with the baby's delivery, while additional pursuers fire at them, including the gang's particularly nasty leader, an intuitive man named Hertz. Our hero, known only as Smith, determines to save the child and find out why Hertz wants the baby dead. At a local bordello, he tries to employ a lactating hooker to watch the child, but things quickly escalate, and this makeshift family is soon on the run. Heavy metal music calms the baby. Why? A laboratory, gun factory, and presidential campaign all figure in Smith's quest for the child's safe deliverance.

Went into the movie thinking it wasnt gonna be all that and came out thinking the exact opposite. This movie has non-stop action, killing, guns, blood, and of course the one sex scene. (which is hilarious) this is a total guys movie and a must see in theatres because of all the action. very interesting take on an action film. i liked it.

My husband and I (in our 40's) went to this without knowing anything about it. We were truely surprised at how much we liked it! If you like Quintin Tarantino movies, which we do, you will like this one! We were the people laughing in the movie theater during Pulp Fiction while some people were leaving the theater in disgust. It is meant to be over the top and unbelievable! I say GO!

I saw an advance screening of this film: Written & directed by Michael Davis, ?SHOOT ?EM UP? is an exceptionally WELL-DONE, slick, breath-taking thriller with Clive Owens playing a near-invincible, quasi-secret-agent type guy trying to save a baby from an unknown criminal gang run by Paul Giamatti (who?s involved with a covert political agenda). It?s a stylish, smart, funny & clever romp, filled with crafty double-entendre patter, fine special effects and near-nonstop, blood-splattered action. This is not suggested for the squeamish or easily offended-- but it?s very HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to everyone else!...
