I saw the 10 episode series that this show is based on in japanese, and it was amazing. It kept me on the edge of my seat, and so did the other movies. I have high hopes for this movie, and pray to God that the director doesn't screw it up. *edt* This movie was a huge dissappointment. It strayed pretty far from the Japanese version, and had very few scenes that were actually scary. Every scene was predictable, and the end was never really there. There is a huge hole for a #2 that i hope they never make.

I thought it was pretty good. The premise was very spooky, people getting a call from the future and hearing their own deaths. The main character trying to get to the source of the first call was very exciting and the suspense built up nicely. The acting was good and there were starts and chills to be had as well. The ending was a disappointment however and they oeverused that jerky spooky ghost movement so many horror flicks are using since we first saw it in The Grudge. Kind of lame like they ran out of good ideas before the end. Still worth seeing though.

It was an ok movie, but just as most scary movies, the ending could've been better.
