Storyline:
The President of the United States is in Salamanca, Spain, about to address the city in a public square. We see a plain-clothes cop, his girlfriend with another man, a mother and child, an American tourist with a video camera, and a Secret Service agent newly returned from medical leave. Shots ring out and the President falls; a few minutes later, we hear a distant explosion, then a bomb goes off in the square. Those minutes are retold, several times, emphasizing different characters' actions. Gradually, we discover who's behind the plot. Is the Secret Service one step ahead, or have the President's adversaries thought of everything?

Great movie - lots of action and suspense. It is fancinating how different the same situation is from the different points of view. I liked how this movie progressed - a little more in each scenerio. A must see on the big screen.

Not in any way!! We were riveted from the opening sequence to the last scene...I think the movie was superbly crafted the way it gave just one more piece of the puzzle on each "replay." The critics missed on this one!

This was a nonstop action thriller that had you in the movie from the beginning. If you loved the Bourne movies than this is a must see. Forest Whittaker and Dennis Quaid rocked. You will be guessing until the end, but pay attention or you will miss clues.

THIS MOVIE HAS ONE OF THE BEST CHAIR-GRIPPING KNUCKLE-CHEWING CAR CHASE SCENE EVER!
AT FIRST, THE MULTIPLE FLASHBACKS THROUGH DIFFERENT VANTAGE POINTS WERE STARTING TO ENGENDER A SENSE OF DEJA VU.... BUT IT ALL PROVED TO BE SLY STORY-TELLING AND MASTERFUL DIRECTING IN PRESENTING THE PLOT/STORY AS IT UNFOLDS LIKE AN ONION - LAYER BY LAYER - THROUGH DIFFERENT VANTAGE POINTS. ONCE THIS PART IS DONE WITH..... WOW - THE EXCITEMENT AND SUSPENSE THAT HAD BUILT UP GETS UNLEASHED FULL-FORCE AND THE AUDIENCE IS SWEPT UP ALONG THROUGH A TIGHTLY SHOT WELL-DIRECTED STORY THAT MOVES ALONG BRISKLY WITH TWISTS AND TURNS THAT UNFOLDS SATISFYINGLY.
Dennis Quaid, Matthew Fox, Forest Whitaker, Sigourney Weaver, William Hurt ARE ALL WELL-CAST AND SUPERB IN THEIR ROLES.
