It's like being on the stage with the Rolling Stones at the Beacon Theater in NYC. What could be greater. Jagger is the Ponce de Leon of the 21st century and rock n roll has to be the fountain of youth. How can a 60 plus year old person do what he does? The band sounds great and Martin Scorcese is hilarious. The contextual clips from the Stones younger years give a perspective. This is such a great movie. It's one you can see over and over again if you love the music. There were songs that i have never seen them do in concert and i've seen them more than any band about 10 times, that was a real treat. Don't miss it!

Not Scorsese's movie. This is Mick's movie. A must for any Stones fan.

This movie is art, pure and simple. From the opening sequence, to the final encore bows, Marty captures the essence of not only the Rolling Stones (the band), but THE EVENT that every Rolling Stones concert truly is. As a dyed-in-the-wool Stones fan for 35 + years, I have attended at least one show from every tour these guys have undertaken since my first Rolling Stones concert at The (L.A.) Forum in July of 1975. This movie provides a front row ticket to "The Greatest Rock and Roll and Roll Band in The World" performing in an intimate setting, at the very top of their game. Throw in special guest stars, Christina Aguillera, Buddy Guy and the incomparable Jack White, in a duet with Mick Jagger on the classic "Loving Cup" from "Exile on Main Street" and you get the very best entertainment value for the price of a movie ticket that you will ever find. Biased? Yep - I'll readily admit to that. But trust me. The same seat you will occupy at this movie would have cost you $2500 @ The Beacon
