with me being a person who loves comedy movies and the such i personally do not understand the "OH NO" through "SO-SO" ratings that this movie has been recieving, this movie was a very hilarious movie that i guess the people that are extremely boring or didn't relise that this movie was a comedy have shuned and are telling others not to see it, i would like to take it in my beliefs and my time to tell you that this movie IS NOT A WASTE, it is one of the movies that i would say is the opening comedy of the summer, in my mind where some of you "OH NO"s will call me a maniac, i am hoping for a sequal, and to all the people that give a "GO" or "MUST GO" i compliment you as you know what you are doing, and to all the "SO SO"s to "OH NO"s, well thanks for your $8-9 contribution, and learn to laugh a little.

this movie was HILARIOUS1 and I am a serious 51 yr old man - but I was in tears laughing most of the movie...and I am sure I missed two-thirds of the jokes because of my laughter or the rapid fire sequence of the humor, I would need to see Guru a few times to catch all the jokes, inside humor, and cameos. I don't see many movies a year - hell, I've got 1,000 channels on satellite- but Love Guru is worth getting off your butt and seeing today. I have never written areview before, by the way, but I couldn't sleep last night laughing from remembering parts of the movie.

This movie was boring. I might have smiled a couple of times, but that was it. Save your money.

If your not into crude humor pass on this one..... The only way out is in. Stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself, why are you still hitting yourself? Into me I see. I know you are....But what am I? LOL This was a real dumb movie; however, as with all dumb Mike Myers films you just can't bring yourself to miss it. Some of the humor was absolutely tragic. But there was some really funny stuff as well. The special thing about Mike Myers are his colorfull characters and he's created another great one in the Guru Pitka. Not a home run, but laugh out loud funny and worth the price of admission.

The characters were boring, the jokes fell flat. Justin T., Jessica Alba and the supporting characters were sooo not funny. Mike Myers really tried: hockey, India, a chastity belt, a Celine Dion wannabe, acronyms, elephant sex (what could go wrong?) I laughed maybe...twice. I was thoroughly disappointed with the movie. I wanted it to be funny. It made me want to go back and see the Austin Power series, which were 20 times better than this movie. What a waste of money...oh well, that's the movie goers life.
