Storyline:
Peter is a composer and a likable sad sack who's devastated when his girlfriend of five years, Sarah Marshall, the star of a cheesy CSI-style crime show, dumps him. He weeps, he rails, he mopes. Finally, his step-brother Brian suggests Hawaii, so Peter heads for a resort on Oahu where, as he's checking in, he sees Sarah and her new beau, Aldous, a polymorphously perverse English rocker. The weeping and moping start again, until Peter is rescued by Rachel, a thoughtful hotel clerk who invites him to a luau and to hang out. Although he constantly runs into Sarah and Aldous, Peter starts to come alive again. Will Sarah realize what she's lost, and what about Rachel?

This is the only comedy movie you will need to see this year. It has every thing you look for in a comedy and never lets you stop laughing. It is every bit as funny as Suoerbad and Knocked Up. If you liked those movies you will love this. I will be going to see this movie again and buy it when it comes out on DVD.

Wow, this movie is outstanding. I saw the screener in early January and it's amazingly funny and heart warming. You gotta hate great movies sometimes because it has to end.

I had such a great time at this movie. It was so funny and so well done. The actors were perfectly cast. Judd Apatow and his crew are so good at making this kind of movie. The storyline is pretty generic, but the characters and the dialog make it absolutely memorable and fantastic. The music for the film is also great. The laughs are almost nonstop, and not all of the jokes were in the commercials. It also has a very dramatic and serious side to the story that is done well, not overly cheesy or anything like that. There were a few parts that were kinda gross and shocking, but that is just all part of the fun. My wife and I both thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and I am even considering going back to see it again.

This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I was skeptical about seeing it thinking it was just another stupid semi-funny love story but I was wrong. Right when the movie starts you're already laughing until the movie ends. This is better than 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up. Go see it!
