Ok, so maybe that's an exaggeration But, I loved it! I've been an X-Files fanatic for years, have seen all the episodes, etc. Just a few things to point out: - There are no aliens/monsters in this movie, nor is it a continuation of the last movie. It's a stand-alone film, but it does a good job of picking up where they left off after the show ended in season 9 - The relationship between Mulder and Scully is a key factor in the movie, and a lot of questions are finally answered/cleared up (A BIG PLUS for all of us Mulder/Scully romance fans out there). Their chemistry on-screen is still, simply stunning:) - There is a surprise appearance from a former cast member towards the end of the movie, from in which my experience got a burst of applause and cheers from the audience when they came on:) - There is a good amount of inside jokes and things to watch for (make sure you stay for the credits!) All in all, despite the mixed reviews, I loved it, and will definitely buy it!

I know there are mix reviews out there for this movie but I liked it....ALOT. I went into it only expecting a good mystery and Mulder and Scully and I got both. There were some surprises that all X-Philes would enjoy but not to many for others to be lost. Yes! Things could've been more paranormal but not every X-Files episode was like that. I believe this movie was perfect so that non-fans could enjoy. Plus, it has been just enough time for X-Philes to miss their beloved characters and want them back anyway they can get them. I appreciate what Chris Carter, Frank Spotnitz, David Duchovny, and Gillian Anderson gave us. I was overwhelmingly satisfied. It was like attending an all you can eat buffet and feeling full but not too full to not want more. Please do another movie in a few years. I for one would go. THANKS! And go see it. Just don't expect anything but a good mystery and some Mulder and Scully interaction and you will be satisfied.

This movie is about the relationship between Mulder and Scully. PERIOD. The creepy, sci-fi action that comes along with it just takes up the gaps in between scenes. I really don't believe that with all of the wonderfully scary episodes that the X-Files creators wrote, this is what they came up with. Don't get me wrong, the premise is totally creepy, but not as scary as some have been hoping it to be. But saying that, just watching Duchovny and Andersons on screen chemistry is worth the watch. If you weren't a big fan of the show, this movie won't blow you away, but if you like watching a couple with some major history behind them, struggle with love and work, then this movie is fascinating to watch. So check out this movie solely to watch these great characters on screen together once again.

Six years after the series ended, Fox Mulder and Dana Scully reunite to help their former employers, the FBI, solve a series of grizzly murders. Chris Carter, along with Frank Spotnitz, did an excellent job of creating a 'stand alone' story that die-hard fans and newcomers can enjoy and be creeped out. The chemistry between Duchovny and Anderson hasn't missed a beat, and their portrayals of their respective characters are both compelling and poignant. Can't wait for the next movie, and hopefully it won't take another six years. Terrific movie and a job well done!

It started well with a mystery compelling Scully to ask Fox to come back to the FBI with all forgiven. As it continued it appeared to have one type of comflict for the plot that has been done to peices, (although they were doing it well), and then near the end it took a great twist that surprised me. The first movie answered all the questions from the series, this one was a lot like 3 epeisodes of the X- Files back-to-back. Altogether quite interesting and fun.
