Born in Springfield, Ohio in 1970. Graduate of the College of Business at Ohio University. Began his film career at Pacific Data Images (PDI/DreamWorks) and DreamWorks SKG/DreamWorks Animation where he worked in PDI's Commercials and Feature Effects division and editorial before moving into production management. Later worked with Hot Donut Productions, DisneyToon Studios, and Planetary Media. He is a full time lecturer at The Ohio State University Department of Theatre and the 'Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD) / The Ohio State University'. Serves as a faculty adviser for BuckeyeTV, and as film project director/producer for 'Melton Center for Jewish Studies', both based at The Ohio State University.
Testified along with Chad Lowe and other filmmakers for the Ohio State Senate Ways and Means Committee as a proponent of Senate Bill 155, a bill to enact tax incentives for the film industry. (24 January, 2006)Received the "Citation of Excellence" at the 2005 ADDY Awards in the category of "Animation or Special Effects in Film/Video" for his work on the Horrors of War (2006) title sequence.
